Spice Route Legal is pleased to have advised Aerem, a prominent solartech financing platform, on raising USD5million in its pre-series A round from climate-tech investors Avaana Sustainability Fund, Blume Ventures India Fund IV, and IPV Advisors Private Limited. Aerem’s unique offerings and platform provide a fully digitalised process that enables easy financing for solar rooftops, to help businesses adopt solar power in a cost effective manner.

The company plans to leverage these funds into expanding its suite of innovative solartech and financing solutions and build an ecosystem that connects financial institutions, EPC companies, and MSMEs, to enable end-to-end solutions for rooftop solar projects.

This is our 7^th cleantech  deal in the last six months – this represents both growing investor interest and growing recognition of our specialist expertise within this space. In 2023, we hope to close over USD1billion in investments in the cleantech space!
