She actively provides advisory not only to traditional financial services players but also to some of the most innovative fintech players and NBFCs. She works alongside the compliance and finance teams of several such financial services players and advising them on structuring and maintaining their products and services to ensure compliance with financial sector regulations.


She has extensive experience of working with NBFCs and advises on products ranging from traditional lending products such as microfinance, gold loans, and housing finance, to more innovative products such as credit lines, payday loans, and new-age personal lending products.

Representative matters:

  • Assisted a prominent digital lending platform with regulatory compliances in relation to the structure and launch of its prepaid card instruments and loan products.
  • Advised India’s second-largest financial services conglomerate and fifth-largest business group on all the regulatory frameworks regarding the structure and launch of its super-app for a range of financial services within one mobile app.
  • Advised one of India’s most prominent NBFCs in the regulatory landscape on digital lending with a focus on concerns around the use and collection of data.
  • Advised one of India’s largest digital lending platforms on the development of an innovative and first-of-its-kind structure on default loss guarantees with the LSP acting as the senior holder of skin-in-the game, specifically evaluating the pros and cons from an accounting and provisioning perspective.
  • Assisted India’s largest micro-finance institution with an assessment and conducted a training session for the board of directors of the company on the best practices for compliance
