- Advised companies on the collection, and handling of patient, visitor, and donor data in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
- Assisted a leading AI-based health-tech company with a global data review required for its market entry into multiple jurisdictions and with an extensive analysis of how US health and data regulations would affect its business.
- Advised an American healthcare company on setting up its India operations, including advising on corporate set-up, structuring commercial contracts, and data transfers.
- Advised one of India’s largest life sciences companies on the export of genome data to the United States and Malaysia.
- Advised an AI/ML-powered telesurgery solutions provider on whether its product constitutes ‘software as a medical device’ under Indian laws, on personal data protection laws applicable to its operations in India.
