His industry knowledge, forged with vast experience in dispute resolution, enables him to deliver bespoke solutions to clients.
Karthik has actively represented clients in various judicial and dispute resolution forums, including the prestigious bodies of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), the Supreme Court of India, and the Bombay High Court.
Karthik is recognised by esteemed global legal publications, including Chambers and Partners and Legal500.
Representative matters:
- Represented one of the largest global infrastructure funds investing in India, in a dispute arising out of an investment made in a Karnataka-based hydro-energy company.
- Represented Mauritius-based private equity funds in disputes arising at the exit stage over investments made in infra projects in Gujarat.
- Representing a Navratna Indian corporate specialising in oil and natural gas exploration in multiple construction disputes.
- Represented a biomass energy generator company and India’s largest electricity distribution utility on tariff determination issues before the Electricity Regulatory Commission.
