Seclore raises a USD 27 million Series C round

We are pleased to have advised Seclore on its Series C round led by Oquirrh Ventures and Origami Capital. Seclore, a data-centric security platform (DCSP) for enterprise, plans to utilise this USD 27.5 million to accelerate its quest to be the platform of choice for enterprise data protection initiatives by expanding its headcount globally as well as its customer base in North America.

The deal was complicated on account of the international nature of the investee company and on account of restructuring around the deal.  This round also witnessed the exit of VenturEast, one of Seclore’s early backers, who exited at a 17.5x return. We advised Seclore on the fundraise, VenturEast’s exit, the restructuring exercise and on incorporating appropriate cross border employee incentivisation schemes. The mandate was led by  Praveen Raju, Janhavi Joshi and Swati Narayanan.
