Defence and Strategic Systems

Our work spans high-value strategic defence mandates involving the development, procurement, and integration of missile systems, surveillance radars and secure communications infrastructure. We support Indian and global defence companies participating in these projects, which are governed by the Defence Acquisition Procedure, 2020 (DAP) and often subject to complex procurement classifications, localisation thresholds, and vendor eligibility requirements.

We advise defence OEMs, suppliers, joint ventures, and technology developers on structuring commercial and strategic participation in such projects. This includes supporting bid submissions, negotiating technology transfer and co-development agreements, managing offset obligations, and addressing regulatory issues across capital procurement, foreign investment, and industrial licensing.

Our experience spans engagements involving DRDO, DPSUs, and defence-linked public sector entities, with a focus on protecting client interests in areas such as IP ownership, access to critical systems, and control over sensitive operational data.
