Spice Route Legal advised SalarySe, a credit-on-UPI platform exclusively for salaried employees, on a fundraise from Surge and Pravega.
SalarySe is on a mission to empower salaried employees and help them achieve financial freedom. SalarySe will utilise this fund to develop technology for Credit-on-UPI and drive the adoption. Once rolled out, the platform would help over 100 million salaried employees in India spend, save, invest, and plan their salaries smartly.
Spice Route Legal has been closely working with SalarySe and advising them on product launch and structuring, structuring equity incentives, partnerships with regulated entities, and contractual agreements, among others.
Spice Route Legal closely worked with SalarySe in structuring equity incentives for the advisors of the company, and we will continue to work with them in product structuring.
Spice Route Legal’s team, led by Mathew Chacko and comprising attorneys Janhavi Joshi, Harsh Kumra, Raksha HR, Deval Garg and Nehal Misra, advised on this deal. Ankita Hariramani and our digital lending team advised on regulatory issues.
