What Chirag brings to the table
Chirag is an Associate with our Energy, Sustainability, and Mobility team and a member of the firm’s Corporate Practice Group.
He has been a key part of several investments and fundraises within the clean energy sector. He also has a specialised focus on sustainability and electric vehicles. Along with his stellar transactional experience, he also assists clients with corporate advisory and regulatory compliance.
Representative matters:
- Advised India’s foremost bus-tracking technology service provider on its successful bid to BEST (India’s public transport and electricity civic authority) for a partnership to provide app-based reserved seating and are advising on the required agreements (such as bus supply, annual maintenance, and operators agreements for over 300 buses) to implement the project contemplated under the tender.
- Assisted a subsidiary of a Mexican biodigester manufacturer with a review of Emissions Reduction Purchase Agreements, on various regulatory queries relating to the transfer of carbon credits, and on a partnership with a global petroleum distributor.
