Spice Route Legal is pleased to have advised Aerem Solutions, a leading end-to-end rooftop solar power solutions provider, on its $11.7 million Series A fundraise. The funding round was led by Japan-based venture fund UTEC and saw participation from British International Investment (BII), Schneider Electric-backed SE Ventures, and Riverwalk Holdings, alongside existing investors Blume Ventures and Avaana Capital.
With this fresh capital, Aerem aims to accelerate its expansion across India, particularly in the eastern and southern regions, while further strengthening its digital platform, financing solutions, and solar marketplace.
As of April 2025, Aerem has facilitated the installation of over 800 MW of solar capacity, financing more than 800 projects, and working alongside a robust network of over 2,000 installation partners.
The Spice Route Legal team advising on this transaction was led by Partner Praveen Raju, along with Senior Associate Janhavi Joshi and Associate Dharmi Jhilka.
